Clergy Appreciation Month Part IV, Praying for your Pastor

One who is taught the word must share all good things with the one who teaches. Galatians 6:6

There are many ways to bless the pastor and his family.  Every act of kindness is appreciated.  However, the gift most needed is the gift of prayer.  This week I am simply reposting a prayer challenge given by Revive Our Hearts ministry.

Every pastor regardless of the size of his congregation or how well his church is thriving needs the prayers of the saints.  Please accept this challenge.  The health of your church depends on it.

Prayerfully you will accept this prayer challenge.  If you do, I encourage you to let your pastor know.  Drop him a text, facebook message or card sharing that you have taken on the challenge to pray for him for 31 days.  I guarantee you, it will bless the socks off him.

The dedicated time you spend in prayer will be well worth  it.  The return on investment will be astronomical.  Just wait and see.  Blessings to you!

Hi, I'm Calvonia. I'm so glad you stopped by. I'm a small town girl with old school ways. So come on in, share of cup of hot tea and a real conversation. I've shared my life with my husband, lover and friend, Moses for most of my adult life. Our union has been blessed with three children a couple of in-loves and a few grandchildren. We are so blessed. I love God more than words can articulate and sharing his word and his love with my sisters literally makes me smile. Enough about me, let's talk about Jesus!
